Maybe you remember Blacky?

About 6 months ago (pictures below) the lady who is now his carer, found him on the street in a horrible condition. He was far too thin, neglected, full of ticks and his eyes were in a terrible state. He couldn't see anything and they were full of pus 😔

Blacky probably had the disease distemper and therefore a severe infection of the eyes. His carer took him to the vet immediately and he started therapy straight away. Unfortunately, he lost his sight in both eyes.

• Age: 1,5-2 years

• Sex: male

• Weight: 12,5 kg

• Neutered, fully vaccinated, house trained

🤩Today Blacky is in a much better condition 💪🏻 He has gained weight, is happy and so grateful for every moment of love and for every single caress 😍 He is so gentle and has such a good soul that your heart hurts when you look at him. ❤️

🐕‍🦺He is the favourite of all the dogs on the ward. Every dog wants to play with him. He greets all visitors very friendly.

⭐️He copes relatively well with his handicap. Sometimes he just stumbles but on the whole he gets around great without sight.

🐈Although not cat tested, we strongly believe he would perfectly get along with them

We are looking for a great family for Blacky (also with children) who will take him as he is.

How do you adopt Blacky?

Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.

You will need to pay for his transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get him to you. The costs are typically €475 in total per puppy, depending on where you are located.

We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
