Aya was found as a 1month old puppy, wandering the fields near the shelter.
As it turned out she got lost and went too far from her mum and a litter we found weeks later.
Other puppies she was placed with in a pen in the shelter bullied her a lot which is why Aya had to be moved to another pen. That was her salvation.
Parvo got our puppies and took their lives, one by one. All but Aya who was crying and crying in her enormously big pen, asking for company, asking for cuddles.
Months had gone by until Aya was reunited with her little sisters and her mum.
Now Aya sings out of happiness❤️
Things you should know about Aya
7 months old
Cane corso cross
25kg, should be between 25-30kg at full size
Shelter babe from the very start who lives in a pen and sleeps in a doggie house
Lives in an enclosure for dogs with her mother and sister
For months she had been alone, crying and asking for attention. Eventually, she'd tire her self out and fall asleep. Those were sad days for Aya. But now she's got her sisters and her mother to play with and she loves it.
They play all the time and can be very vocal occasionally. Aya's biggest pleasure is having anyone visiting them in their pen so she can get her cuddles and give lots of kisses. Another thing she absolutely adores is exploring the shelter with numerous palls from the shelter so they sniff around and have some proper runs. Aya in spite of her size is a big sweetheart and knows no aggression or dominance- on the contrary, she is acting like a little baby and is such a good girl,
She isn't house / toilet trained so a small guidance will be needed in the beginning
Amazing with people, so far hasn't shown fear from unfamiliar people
hasn't met the kids - our preference are dog savvy children as she is a big girl
not cat tested
Not used on walking on a lead so a small practice is needed
healthy, fully vaccinated & spayed
How do you adopt AYA?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for Aya's transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you.
The costs are typically €550 in total depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
